Verify a broker before you hand over the load
Anyone can email you a rate con. That does not mean they have active authority, a real bond, or a habit of paying. Run the broker through the checklist first and vet the authority, the bond and the red flags that cost carriers their freight pay. Free, and far cheaper than hauling for a company that disappears at invoice time.
